Autobiography of Magdalene Ngala

Magdalene Ngala is a U.S.-based Cameroonian gospel music minister and songwriter, born on December 12th in the North West Region of Cameroon, into a family of seven. As the fifth child, she was raised in a devout Catholic home. Her parents, committed Catholics, nurtured her in the fear of God. From a young age, Magdalene developed a deep love for God. Her dedication to the church led to her being elected president of the Cadet of Mary at just 10 years old, where she inspired and guided approximately 150 children in their faith.

As a child, Magdalene aspired to become a reverend sister, but despite her active involvement with the reverend sisters and priests, she did not achieve her dream. She attended Saint Joseph’s Primary School Djottin, completing her primary education in 1997. Financial difficulties prevented her parents from affording secondary school fees, so her father sent her to Yaoundé with her eldest sister, who had promised to help with the tuition. Unfortunately, her sister, also a student, struggled to pay her own fees and could not provide the promised support. Between the ages of 14 and 18, Magdalene worked in various households and saved money to fund her secondary education. At 18, she returned to school and earned her high school diploma in both English and French.

Amidst these challenges, Magdalene married at a young age due to a lack of sponsorship for further education. Her husband, who was a year older, became her supporter. While managing her marriage, she gave birth to two sons and continued her studies. In 2010, Magdalene seized a new opportunity to move to the United States through the American lottery. By 2014, she had enrolled at Quinsigamond Community College, where she pursued a nursing education. In 2012, she converted to Pentecostal Christianity in the U.S.

A significant turning point came in 2014 when Magdalene had a profound dream encounter with Jesus Christ, leading her to begin writing songs. In 2015, guided by the Spirit, she sought out a man of God and met Apostle Johnson Suleman during a crusade in Maryland. The apostle revealed that the Holy Spirit had directed him to empower her for greater spiritual manifestation.

In 2018, Magdalene attended Omega Bible Institute and was appointed as a branch pastor in Worcester. In 2019, while working at a state hospital, she chose to study the psychology of counseling. She delved deeper into Bible study and, by God’s grace, began receiving divine revelations through dreams where she sang songs. These dreams often featured her singing with groups of people, inspiring her to name her music label “Revelation Music.” Additionally, she was moved to create beats for many of her songs. In 2021, she released her debut song, "FILL ME," with the assistance of her eldest son, who crafted the beats as a talented keyboardist. Along with "Fill Me," she has released several other songs, including "I Got the Reason," "Come and Join Me," "What God Has Done," "His Goodness," "You Beautify Me," and "It Is Over." She is currently working on releasing her debut album.
